Hello! My name is Kendall Nicole Hurley Dennie. I love curling up with a good book and adventuring around the PNW and Alaska. Welcome to my blog!

I have 5+ years experience as a copywriter/editor. I began my career after graduating from undergrad with a BA in history, doing freelance work for websites on a broad spectrum of topics. I currently work in the museum industry as a development coordinator, where I get to combine a love of helping others with my passion for writing and research.

I have always loved to write. I journal and write poems and letters, and I read more than anyone I’ve ever met. I began this blog as a way to write about things that mattered to me, not just things I got paid to write about. In 2020, when the world spun out of control for everyone, I took a step back for my mental health. After dealing with some large life changes, I decided to return.

Some of the topics covered on my site are books, lifestyle, mental health care, budgeting, and the odd recipe thrown in there sometimes. I like to write about what interests me, what I’m passionate about, or has been on my mind lately. I don’t believe in limiting oneself for a “brand,” I think we are all gemstones cut into facets for a reason.
